This year i am starting at heaton intermediate school and the uniform is awesome in some ways so ill give you a glimpse

Girls Winter
Skirt	Kilt style skirt, Gordon Tartan, Twill fabric, regulation length to be 20 cm from the ground.
Shirt	White long sleeved over-shirt with slits, school logo added.
Pullover	V necked Kairanga brand, Lincoln green or Alford knitting brand, Heaton green.
Socks	Tights or knee length, navy blue.
Summer
Skirt	Lightweight, wraparound, green and white check, knee length.
Shirt	White summer weight, short sleeved over-shirt with slits, school logo added.
Pullover	V necked Kairanga brand, Lincoln green or Alford knitting brand, Heaton green.
Socks	White ankle, worn above ankle.

i wrote this story at shirley primary last year (2008) in my writing class here is a glimpse.

the sun started to rise above the frozen mountains as the wind whistled through the winds like a chorus of chimes. Colette lifted her head slowly to stare out the window, only to see a flash of pink melt into the quivering forest..........
